SuperGrrrl @ The SuperGrands
OK I have to admit . . . one of my favorite reasons for attending tournaments is to see some of the most phenomenal athletes you can imagine! Better yet . . . so many of them are of the “weaker” sex.
Weaker?!? HAH! There’s nothing weak about this SuperGrrrl and all parents would be wise to direct their daughters attention away from the likes of the Kardashians and give them a real American Idol.
I am proud and honored to introduce you to one of my favorite grrrls, McKenna (MackTown) Jolly.
Let’s have some fun!!!!!
Did she win the national championship? Well, McKenna may not have taken home the trophy but she’s a champion in my book. This was her first SuperGrands, she got to the Finals and missed it by .01 (yes, just 1/10th of a point!). Congratulations to this beautiful, talented, intelligent athelete.

To be or not to be . . . a buddy ~ THAT is the question!
Kids have plenty of buddies, they need parents. If you must connect your child, please stay involved, limit access and educate, educate, educate. That goes for parents and children. Technology is changing daily and we have to keep (and in most cases) catch up! Better yet, disconnect at least once a day and talk. Yes, talk! You know . . . that thing that happens when you open your mouth and words come out. You’ll be amazed at what you learn about each other.
Now go to your children, talk to them about internet/cell phone safety and say the following promise over and over and over again:
I am your parent first, your friend second. I will stalk you, flip out on you, lecture you, drive you insane, be your worst nightmare & hunt you down like a bloodhound when needed because I LOVE YOU! When you understand that, I will know you are a responsible adult. You will NEVER find someone who loves, cares, & worries about you more than I do!

Tang Soo Do = Goodwill
I am so proud to be part of the Tang Soo Do organization and its phenomenal members. Such huge hearts! It is people like these that will change our world! Let’s all work to lead by example. Get off the couch, turn off the Casey Anthony stories, volunteer and do something that you will be proud of! No more words are needed . . . enjoy!
